These Terms & Conditions apply to all services arranged by Island Pulse Travels. By confirming a booking with us, the customer agrees to the terms set out below.
Island Pulse Travels provides travel planning and arrangement services in Sri Lanka. These may include tour packages, hotel coordination, transport, chauffeur arrangements, day tours, wildlife safaris, cultural experiences, adventure activities, wellness experiences and general travel guidance.
A booking is confirmed only after Island Pulse Travels has issued written confirmation and any required payment has been received. Until confirmation is issued, hotels, transport, guides, activities and other services remain subject to availability.
Prices are based on the travel dates, number of travellers, selected accommodation, route, transport requirements, inclusions and activities confirmed in the final itinerary. Prices may change if the customer requests amendments, upgrades, additional services, date changes or route changes after confirmation.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate travel details, including names, contact information, arrival and departure dates, number of travellers, special requests, health considerations and any mobility requirements. Customers are also responsible for valid passports, visas, travel insurance and any documents required for travel to Sri Lanka.
Island Pulse Travels welcomes travellers of all ages. Some activities may have age, health, fitness or safety suitability requirements. Where relevant, these will be explained before the activity is confirmed.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all customers. Insurance should cover medical treatment, cancellation, curtailment, delays, loss of belongings, emergency support and any activities included in the itinerary, such as wildlife safaris, hiking, water activities or adventure experiences.
Customers may request changes to confirmed bookings in writing. Island Pulse Travels will do its best to accommodate changes, but amendments are subject to availability and may involve additional costs from hotels, transport providers, guides or activity operators.
Some travel experiences may be affected by weather, road conditions, sea conditions, park access, supplier availability or safety considerations. Where necessary, Island Pulse Travels may adjust the itinerary to protect customer comfort and safety. Suitable alternatives will be suggested wherever possible.
Island Pulse Travels works with hotels, guides, drivers, activity providers, safari operators, restaurants and other trusted travel partners. Some services are delivered by independent suppliers and may be subject to their own operating conditions, safety rules and cancellation terms.
Customers are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, drivers, hotel teams, local communities, cultural sites, wildlife and the natural environment. Island Pulse Travels may discontinue services if a customer behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, unlawful or harmful to others.
Island Pulse Travels takes reasonable care when planning and arranging travel services. However, we are not responsible for losses, delays, injuries, disruptions or additional costs caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, supplier cancellations, flight delays, government restrictions, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
We aim to keep website information accurate and useful. However, prices, hotel availability, seasonal conditions, activity access and travel details may change. Website content should be treated as general guidance until confirmed in writing as part of a final quotation or itinerary.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any concern or dispute should first be raised directly with Island Pulse Travels so that a fair and practical resolution can be discussed.
